Your Photos Deserve to Live and be Displayed
Why do you cherish photos of your baby?
What makes family photos so precious?
It's the magic of time travel, frozen in a frame.
A photograph isn't just an image; it's a portal back to a moment, an emotion, a beautiful story. It's a chance to relive the laughter, the love, and the memories that define your life.
But here's the truth about technology: it's fleeting.
In a decade or less, that USB drive might become obsolete, your computer could crash, and in the blink of an eye, your treasured memories could vanish.
Imagine now a different scenario – your photos, not hidden away in a digital abyss, but proudly displayed in an album or on your wall.
Each glance, a joyful reminder of your life's journey. It's not just happiness, it's legacy.
Transform your digital memories into timeless treasures. Let them adorn your life and echo through generations.
Because your story, your moments, deserve more than a click – they deserve a place of honour in your heart and your home.
"We had a first-class experience doing a newborn shoot with our twin girls. This was our second shoot with Valentina as she did our eldest’s newborn shoot in 2017 and we were very happy to book her again. Valentina was extremely calm, patient and professional and took some amazing pictures for us. She also managed to include our very busy toddler for some of the shots and has produced a beautiful family album for us and the grandparents. Many happy memories!"
From wall products to personalised photo albums, these handpicked selections have earned the appreciation of my clients over the years.
Different sizes and options offer a solution for different budgets.

Coming soon to toy stores near you... not really. But imagine!
Introducing the Valentina action figure:
Wearing the classic jeans + white tee combo
Armed with a Canon camera (obviously)
Comes with accessories like a laptop, lit candle (for vibes), white orchid (because aesthetics matter), AND my real-life Labrador sidekick
Mood: somewhere between “let’s create magic” and “I need chocolate.”
Honestly, this was such a fun little thing to try and kinda hilarious to see myself as a 3D mini-me! 🙈
But behind the toy box, there’s a real woman who’s spent years telling stories through photos. Helping mums feel beautiful. Cheering on women rediscovering their confidence.
Freezing the messy, emotional, magical in-between moments that make life what it is.
And while I don’t come in packaging (thank goodness, can you imagine the plastic hair??), I do show up with camera in hand and music in the background, ready to turn your moments into something timeless.
So tell me… if YOU were an action figure, what would your accessories be?
Mine better come with a never-ending SD card.
PS. My daughter said the figurine looks like an Oompa Loompa.
I might have laughed a little too hard… mostly because she’s not wrong.

These photos?
They were taken minutes after she told me everything she didn’t like about herself.
And yet… look at her.
Strong. Present.
Fully seen.
So many of the women I photograph say the same things before we begin
“I’m not photogenic.”
“I don’t like how I look.”
“I just want to hide.”
We’ve been taught to shrink.
To criticise before we’re criticised.
To see ourselves through the lens of judgement, instead of truth.
But what if we could rewrite that story?
That’s why I created the Women Empowering Session, to give voice to the powerful woman who’s already in you. You don’t have to become someone else. You just have to see her.
And if you want to start this journey gently,
I created something for you: The Empowered Woman’s Manifesto. A loving reminder of who you are beneath all the noise.
DM me manifesto and I’ll send you the link.
Tell me, what part of yourself are you learning to celebrate?

I know, I know… for mums-to-be, new mums, or parents in general, stress kind of comes with the job.
Between the night feeds, the baby prep, and the emotional rollercoaster that is parenthood, it’s so easy to feel overwhelmed.
That’s why this month is the perfect time to pause and check in with yourself.
YOU MATTER.
Taking care of your mental health isn’t selfish, it’s one of the best things you can do for yourself and your little one.
So let`s chat, how are you managing stress lately?
Maybe it`s a hot cup of tea?
A few minutes of quiet time?
A couple of deep breaths or a walk around the block?
Whatever it is, let`s share and support each other!
Your tip might help another mama breathe easier today.

The clocks went forward yesterday . . . and on Mother’s Day, of all days. Come on, haven`t we earned that extra hour?
To most parents, that lost hour is deeply felt, especially at night. How is your child adapting?
Sleep is difficult at the best of times, and it’s one of the most frequent things I am hearing from parents dropping by my studio this time of the year. If your baby or toddler has been a bit (or a lot!) off schedule - you’re not the only one.
Here are some reminders that can help them (and you!) transition into the new tempo:
Slowly alter the time.Start shifting bedtime 15 minutes earlier each night until you’re back on track. Small steps go a long way.
Bring the outdoors into the morning. The morning sunlight will help reset their internal clock. A bit of outdoor play after breakfast can work wonders.
Stick to your wind-down routine.Consistency is the key. Bath, book, lullaby, the rhythm is soothing and tells the body to sleep.
Keep it dark and cool.A cool, dark environment is key for quality sleep. Consider blackout curtains and the right room temperature for better rest.
Don`t stress is you haven`t made changes yet - it`s never too late to start making little adjustments to help your baby (and YOU) sleep better.
What`s been working for you? Any tips for other parents?

Happy Mother’s Day
Being a mum has changed me in ways I never expected.
It’s made me softer and stronger. More patient and more protective. It’s helped me see life through a completely different lens.
And while I’m incredibly grateful for the bond I have with my own mum, I know I’m not always the “easiest” person in my daughter’s eyes right now. She’s 13 and I remember exactly how I felt about my mum at that age too. 😅
But that’s the thing about motherhood, we show up anyway. We love fiercely even when we’re met with eye rolls and closed bedroom doors. We support, we guide, we stay… even when we’re not fully understood.
So today, I want to honour every kind of mum:
The ones with grown-up children.
The ones just starting out.
The single mums.
The mums missing their own mums.
The mums coping with loss.
Those struggling to become a mum.
And the ones holding space for complex emotions and evolving relationships.
I’m really grateful my daughter let me share this photo of the three of us. Because this moment — three generations together — is one I’ll treasure forever.
To all the mums, you are doing an incredible job. Today is for you.

Because memory is fragile.
And sometimes, a single photograph brings it all flooding back.
A scent.
A laugh.
A detail you didn’t even know you’d forgotten.
Not because the photo is perfect. But because you were there.
This isn’t about cameras or printing or even photography.
It’s about remembering.
It’s about connection.
What’s a photo you’re grateful you have?
